Children at Palfrey Infants School have been busy completing their annual reading challenge this term. The children are challenged to read 50 school library books over a period of 10 weeks.
Over 160 pupils received medals at the prize giving assembly.
We were thrilled by the support of the parents , bringing their children to library club each week enabled more children than ever to achieve a medal. In total over 8200 books were read during the challenge. The school is investing £5000 into new books for the library this forthcoming year, so there will be plenty of new books to read next summer! Well done children!
