Head lice and nits
Head lice and nits are very common in young children and their families. They do not have anything to do with dirty hair and are picked up by head-to-head contact.
Your child does not need to stay off school if you suspect or discover they have head lice. Let us know if this is the case so that we can ask other parents to check their children.
